Giles, Chapter 2:
Inside the fallen carriage, I reached out desperately towards the door.
(I need to get out!)
My vision was growing dim, and my hand trembled and began to fall away, when—
Giles:Jily!!
The door opened, and I felt myself lifted free.
(Giles—)
Jily:You came to help me—
I whispered the words as I fell unconscious in Giles's arms.
***
I slowly opened my eyes to the feel of the breeze caressing my cheek.
Nico:Are you okay, Jily?
Nico was leaning over me, his expression full of concern.
Jily:I'm okay.
Nico breathed a sigh of relief at my words, his expression relaxing a little.
Nico:I'm afraid your carriage was in an accident, Jily.
Nico:Also, Giles said he'll be by to see you soon.
Jily:What?
(Giles?)
I considered Nico's words thoughtfully for a moment.
(I wonder who that is? I've never heard that name before.)
Jily:Is he the doctor?
Nico burst out laughing at my question.
Nico:Don't be silly, Jily, Giles is the one who rescued you—
Nico cut himself off as he looked down at my expression, and he frowned again.
Nico:Jily?
I looked back up at him in confusion, not understanding why he looked so worried.
***
Meanwhile, in the study—
Giles sat at the desk talking with one of the bureaucrats, a frown on his face.
The bureaucrat was frowning as well, his voice loud and somewhat uneven.
Bureaucrat:Imagine, a carriage accident. It's a relief that she's okay, but—
Bureaucrat:We never know what might happen to the princess in the future.
The bureaucrat scowled even more, and Giles sighed softly.
Giles:Yes, I agree.
The bureaucrat fell silent for a moment, and then spoke again, his voice firmer.
Bureaucrat:It may be best to encourage her to find a prince consort as soon as possible.
Giles narrowed his eyes at the bureaucrat's words, his expression going cold.
But he could think of nothing to say in response.
***
My eyes widened as Nico explained things to me.
Jily:I've lost my memory?
Nico:You must have. After all, you don't remember Giles, do you?
(But that's—)
I frowned in confusion, trying to make sense of things, when there was a knock at the door and a man entered.
???:How are you feeling?
I looked up at the unfamiliar man, and Nico whispered softly in my ear.
Nico:That's Giles.
(This is the man who saved me?)
Jily:I feel much better, thank you.
I felt like it would be rude to tell him I didn't remember him, so I tried to answer normally.
To my relief, he smiled gently at me.
Giles:That's good to hear.
He turned to look at Nico, and spoke in a quiet, calm voice.
Giles:Nico, could you leave us alone for a moment?
Nico:Of course. See you later, Jily.
Nico left the room, and Giles sat down in the chair next to my bed.
Giles:All that matters is that you are safe.
Giles reached towards me, his long fingers gently caressing my cheek.
(Oh!)
My heart began to race at the warmth of his caress.
(Nico said that you were my tutor, Giles.)
(Is that really true?)
Giles dropped his hand away again, and an odd sense of disappointment thrummed through me.
(What is this feeling?)
Sudden doubt welled up in my mind.
(Who are you to me really, Giles?)
I couldn't quite meet his gaze, so I glanced around, and I saw the closet nearby.
Sitting at the front was a lovely pair of shoes that I'd never seen before.
Jily:Those are very pretty shoes. Who do they belong to?
I heard Giles catch his breath at my words, and I looked up.
He was staring down at me with wide eyes.
I frowned a little as I looked up at him, chewing my lip uncertainly.
(Was that the wrong question? Did I say something weird?)
Jily:Is something the matter?
I spoke hesitantly, and Giles's expression relaxed into a smile.
Giles:No. But since they're in your room, they're probably your shoes.
His quiet voice seemed to echo unnaturally loudly in the stillness.
***
At last I was feeling well enough to be out of bed again.
I returned to my regular duties, and Giles explained my schedule for the day to me.
Giles:If you start to feel unwell at any time, please let me know.
Giles closed my schedule book and spoke again, his voice quieter this time.
Giles:In addition, because of your accident—
Giles:There has been talk that it might be best for you to consider choosing a prince consort sooner rather than later.
Jily:What?
(You want me to pick someone? Now?)
I blinked up at him in disbelief, but his words sparked the edge of guilt lingering in the back of my mind.
(I caused so many problems and worries for everyone with that carriage accident.)
(If thinking about this will ease people's minds, then it's the least I can do.)
Jily:Very well.
I took a deep breath, and then looked up Giles, my mind made up.
Jily:If there is anyone you would like me to meet, then I will be happy to do so.
Giles narrowed his eyes at my words, and spoke in soft tones.
Giles:Is that so?
Giles:Very well. I will arrange some information for you to look over when you have the time.
***
That evening—
When all my work for the day was done, I sat down on the sofa.
Giles had given me information on some candidates for prince consort, and I looked over the documents.
(There's so many of them...)
As I tried to find a way to narrow down the selection, there was a quiet knock at my door.
Giles:Excuse me.
Jily:Giles?
Giles closed the door behind him and crossed the room towards me.
Giles:Have you chosen anyone you'd like to meet with?
I frowned as I lowered my gaze to the documents again.
Jily:Not yet. It's hard trying to figure out who might be a suitable prince consort just from these documents.
Giles:I see.
Giles spoke softly as he stopped in front of me, looking down at me.
Giles:Still, you don't seem to understand.
He leaned over me, his hands coming to rest on the sofa back on either side of me.
Jily:What?
As I looked up at him he suddenly pushed me down against the sofa.
Jily:Giles—
He leaned close, pressing me down against the soft cushions,
and began to nuzzle against my neck, his lips gentle on my skin.
Jily:Giles—what are you—
I squirmed a little, trying to move away, and he lifted his head again.
His eyes were intense as they stared right at me, and I felt captivated by his gaze.
He whispered softly, his breath warm against my cheek.
Giles:Even if you choose someone for the sake of the country—
Giles:Will you be able to devote every part of yourself to them?
Jily:Wait, what?
I didn't understand his words, and then he leaned closer again, until our faces were almost touching.
Giles:Is there anyone other than me that you could do that for?
Giles's voice was husky and inviting as he murmured the words.
Jily:I—
My words all seemed stuck in my throat, and then Giles smirked suddenly.
Giles:I'm just joking.
He stood up straight, moving away from me, and then sighed softly.
Giles:I do apologize. Perhaps that was a little too strong as a teaching method.
My heart was pounding wildly in my chest as I stared up at him.
Giles:Wysteria's needs are important, but so are your own personal feelings.
Giles:After all, you will be with that person for the rest of your life.
Giles turned away as soon as he finished speaking and walked towards the door.
The door shut behind him with a soft click, and I sat up slowly.
(Giles—)
My hands were shaking slightly, my thoughts whirling at what had just happened.
(There was something so wistful, so lonely in your gaze.)
(And that wasn't the only time—you've stared at me with those lonely eyes so many times recently.)
My pulse should have been calming down, but instead it was getting louder.
(Am I forgetting something? Something really important?)
I looked slowly around the room, trying to focus my thoughts and remember.
As I did so, my gaze was caught by the shoes sitting at the front of my closet.
My eyes widened slowly in surprise as I stared at them.
Jily:Wait a minute...

Giles, Chapter 3-Sweet Ending:
(Those shoes—)
I crossed the room to the closet and picked up the shoes.
It was the first time I'd looked at them closely, and my heart pounded faster, as if trying to tell me something.
(What? What is it?)
Something vague and hazy surfaced in my thoughts, and I tried to focus on it.
But it vanished again as quickly as it had come.
I stared at the shoes for a long time, but at last I sighed softly and put them down.
(I don't remember.)
***
The next morning was serene, the bright sky stretching on forever.
Giles explained my schedule to me, as he did every morning.
(Why?)
I kept remembering what had happened the night before, and I couldn't meet his eyes.
(I can't look at you without remembering your lips against my skin.)
At that moment, Giles's voice interrupted my thoughts.
Giles:Also, from today onwards I would like you to meet a few candidates for prince consort.
Jily:What?
I looked up at him in disbelief, but he spoke calmly, never losing his composure.
Giles:I thought you might have trouble choosing someone at first.
Giles:So I have chosen a few suitable candidates to start with.
He smiled at me, his gaze unusually gentle.
Giles:I think they will suit you.
My heart seemed to ache in my chest, but I nodded slowly.
Jily:All right.
***
The first candidate Giles took me to visit was a young earl who lived nearby.
Earl:It's an honor to meet you, Your Highness.
Jily:Not at all. The honor is mine.
I curtseyed politely, and then looked up to find him smiling at me, his expression friendly.
(Well, he seems like a nice person so far.)
I smiled back at him, and Giles bowed to the both of us.
Giles:I will take my leave, then.
***
The baron and I took a walk around the garden, exchanging idle conversation.
(He's a nice person, and there's nothing wrong with him that I can tell, but—)
In my mind, I could see an image of Giles's smiling face.
(Ahh, I don't know what to do.)
At that moment the baron caught me gently by the arm, pulling me towards him.
Earl:Look out.
Jily:Oh!
A black cat skittered past me on the path, nearly colliding with my skirts.
The baron looked at me seriously for a moment, and then sighed softly.
Earl:You've only been half paying attention for a while now.
Jily:I'm sorry.
Earl:No, not at all. I'm not trying to be rude, but—
Earl:I was just wondering, have you already chosen someone?
Jily:What? Oh, no, I just—
I cut myself off mid-sentence as Giles's face flashed through my mind again.
(Why am I thinking about Giles now?)
My thoughts were whirling, and my pulse seemed to be roaring in my ears.
(Why—)
I turned my gaze away from the baron, when suddenly—
Jily:Oh!
A stabbing pain coursed through my head.
(Ow!)
A sudden pain seemed to stab through my head, and I stopped walking.
The pain was so overwhelming that I fell to the ground, my hands cradling my head.
Earl:Princess! What's the matter? Are you all right?
The baron knelt down and placed a hand on my shoulder, his voice shrill with worry.
(It hurts too much to breathe, let alone speak!)
My vision clouded, everything going dim, and I felt arms around me, lifting me up.
Giles:If you will excuse me.
I looked up to find myself cradled against Giles's chest.
His arms were warm around me, and he looked down at me with worry and concern.
I blinked up at him several times, something tickling at the back of my mind.
(I feel like I've seen this before—)
I felt safe and relieved to be held in his arms, and I swallowed hard.
(I've felt this before, too.)
I blinked again, trying to clear my vision, trying to focus my thoughts.
My mind felt fuzzy and dazed, but all of a sudden—
(Ohhhh!)
I remembered the moment the carriage had overturned.
〝Giles:Just a little longer. Hold on, now. You can do it.〞
(Giles was the one who saved me!)
My fuzzy memories grew clearer as I focused on them, coming back to me one after another.
(That's right!)
I felt overwhelmed by the memories tumbling into my mind.
(Giles, you aren't just my tutor, are you?)
(You're someone I care for, very much.)
I reached up and touched his shoulder, my fingers grasping at his jacket.
(I need to tell you!)
Jily:Giles—
Giles:Jily?
Giles looked down at me, his eyes wide with surprise, and I scrabbled desperately for the right words.
Jily:Oh, Giles—I—
But my vision was clouding again, and my mouth wouldn't do as it was told.
I tried again to speak, but my thoughts were fading, and consciousness slipped away.
***
???:Jily...
A gentle voice whispered my name, right in my ear.
I felt something warm wrapped around my hand, and I opened my eyes to look.
Giles sat next to me, sound asleep, his upper body slumped over the bed and his hand clinging to mine.
(You've stayed by my side the whole time—and yet—)
I reached out to stroke his hair, tears spilling down my cheeks.
Jily:I'm so sorry.
My love for him welled up inside me as I touched him.
(You're so important to me—how could I ever forget you?)
I started to pull my hand back from his hair again.
But suddenly Giles reached up and caught hold of it, stopping me.
Giles:You're a naughty girl, sneakily watching me while I sleep.
Jily:Giles?
My voice squeaked with surprise as Giles opened his eyes.
He climbed up onto the bed next to me, smiling as he leaned over me.
Giles:And I may not forgive you, even if you apologize.
Giles lifted my chin towards him, and leaned over to steal a kiss.
His lips were strong and passionate against mine, and I closed my eyes.
It was almost as if he were devouring me, and I gave myself over to the feeling.
Now that I had my memories back, it felt as if it had been far too long since we'd kissed.
His taste was sweet and loving and I savored every moment of our kisses.
I moved towards him, wanting to taste more, but he pulled back at last.
Giles:That said, it certainly took you a long time to remember.
(Wait a minute—)
I was panting from our passionate kisses, but I tried to catch my breath to speak.
(How did you know so quickly that my memories are back?)
Jily:Giles—how—
Giles smiled, his fingers touching my lips to stop me from saying anything more.
Giles:That much was clear just from looking at your expression.
(Really? Wait, does that mean you knew all along?)
(And you didn't say anything because you didn't want to upset me?)
Jily:So you knew all along that I'd lost my memories?
Giles:Yes. I understood that as soon as you asked about those shoes.
Jily:Oh!
I remembered suddenly the look on his face when I'd first asked whose shoes they were.
(How could I have forgotten?)
(Giles and I made a special promise about those shoes!)
My heart ached as I realized that I hadn't really hidden anything from him, even for a moment.
Jily:I'm so sorr—
Giles pressed a finger against my lips, stopping my words.
Giles:Please, don't apologize anymore.
(But Giles—)
Giles trailed his fingers down towards my neck, a smile gracing his features as he did so.
Giles:You've remember now, and that's all that matters.
Giles:You remember that your heart is mine.
His voice held a sweet promise as he slid his fingers down towards the curve of my breasts.
He pushed aside the fabric and pressed his lips against my bared skin.
I gasped softly, the sweet touch even more enticing after so long without it.
(I'm sorry we couldn't fulfill our promise.)
(But you're right—my heart belongs to you.)
I lay back as Giles rained kisses down on my body, every touch setting my desire alight...

Giles, Chapter 3-Premium Ending:
(Those shoes—)
I walked over to the closet and leaned down to touch the shoes.
As I gazed at them, I was struck with the memory of having worn them before.
(I feel like these were favorites of mine.)
(And I wore them when I went to the opera house.)
(But—)
My memories were hazy, and I couldn't quite remember anything more than that.
(But why were they my favorites?)
I sighed softly, frustrated with how vague my memories were, and moved away from the shoes.
***
Meanwhile, Giles was in the study, reviewing documents as he listened to Leo making a report.
Leo:Although the opera house opening ceremony was postponed because of the accident, they've finally rescheduled it.
Giles:I see.
Leo studied Giles's expression for a moment, then spoke softly.
Leo:It certainly is a relief. But the bureaucrats are also saying it's a good opportunity.
Leo:They're talking about how the princess should attend with one of the prince consort candidates.
Giles's hands stilled on the documents in front of him, and he looked up at Leo.
Giles:Very well.
***
At last it was the day of the opening ceremony for the opera house.
I finished my congratulatory speech without any problems,
and I smiled as the room was filled with applause.
(Ahh, thank goodness that went well!)
I breathed a sigh of relief as I made my way back to my seat.
I was greeted halfway there by an earl who had been introduced to me earlier as a prince consort candidate.
Earl:That was a wonderful speech.
Jily:Thank you very much.
He smiled at me and I smiled back, trying to hide my confusion.
(This guy was waiting for me when I arrived at the opera house.)
The baron linked his elbow with mine, and escorted me back to our seats.
(But I don't know what I'm supposed to do.)
I glanced away from him, and then I heard his voice murmur softly in my ear.
Earl:You know, those shoes are lovely. They suit you very well.
Jily:Oh?
I looked down at my shoes in surprise, and I was speaking before I even realized what I was saying.
Jily:These were made for me especially to wear to the opera house—
I stopped mid-sentence, my heart suddenly pounding loudly in my chest.
(Wait a minute—)
I pressed a hand to my heart, trying to stop its desperate pounding.
(Why do these shoes make me feel this way?)
I searched my thoughts, desperately trying to make sense of it all, when—
(Oh my gosh!)
My eyes widened with shock as a sudden memory struck me.
(The reason I wanted to wear these shoes was because—)
Jily:I made a promise with Giles.
As I whispered the words, a vivid memory danced through my mind.
Giles:Please wear those shoes when you attend the opera.
Giles:That way, even if we're apart—
Giles:You won't feel lonely, knowing that we share that special secret.
(I was feeling lonely because we were too busy with work to see each other much.)
(And Giles created that special secret promise, just for us.)
My mind was flooded with memories, and I couldn't bear the feelings bursting through me.
(And yet I forgot about Giles—forgot everything—)
I was standing up from my seat before I'd even realized it.
Jily:Please excuse me for a moment.
Earl:Princess?
I curtseyed quickly, ignoring the earl's shocked expression as I hurried away.
***
(Where are you, Giles?)
I hurried through the opera house, but I couldn't find Giles anywhere, and I stepped outside to look for him.
As I did so, I heard a familiar voice speak from just behind me.
???:What are you doing out here?
I turned around to find Giles walking towards me, a frown on his face.
Giles:The opera is about to start. You should return to your seat—
I cut Giles off, my words flustered, my voice uneven.
Jily:Why, Giles?
Giles stopped walking towards me, his eyes widening in surprise.
I stared up at him, overwhelmed by a torrent of emotions.
I remembered clearly how I'd asked about the shoes, and how I'd treated him like a stranger.
(You must have known, and yet—)
Jily:Why didn't you tell me that I'd forgotten you?
The words burst out of me as tears spilled down my cheeks.
Giles:Jily—
Giles reached towards me and pulled me into his arms, pressing my head gently against his chest.
Giles:There was no need to tell you.
His husky voice whispered reassuringly in my ear.
Giles:Even if you don't have your memories of me—
Giles:My feelings for you will never change.
Jily:Giles—
I bit my lip desperately, trying to stop my tears.
(You're always thinking about me, always trying to do what's best for me, and yet—)
I remembered his kind words, and the sadness in his eyes as he'd looked at me.
(And yet I hurt you so very badly.)
Jily:I'm so sorry.
I whispered the words against his chest, and he kissed me gently on the top of my head.
Giles:It's okay, Jily.
Giles pulled back from me just slightly, reaching up to wipe away my tears.
Giles:Right now we have a job to do, so let's go inside and watch the opera.
Jily:Okay.
My voice was thick with tears, and Giles smiled as he looked down at me.
Giles:I look forward to discussing the rest later, when we're alone in your room.
***
Giles shut the door behind us, and lifted me in his arms.
Jily:Giles—
The opera was over, and it felt good to finally be alone with him.
Giles:I did say we'd continue things later, did I not?
Giles's eyes were sparkling with amusement as he carried me over to the bed.
I let him push me down against the covers, but I frowned a little as I glanced downwards.
Jily:It's not that—
(I'm still wearing my shoes, and I—)
Giles laughed softly, his expression mischievous.
Giles:What's wrong with doing things differently every once in a while?
He slid his fingers teasingly up my legs, my skirts rustling softly.
Jily:Ahh—
My body quivered at the gentle yet sensual caresses.
Giles slid both his hands up to my thighs, pushing aside my skirts and baring my legs.
Giles:Your memories returning is such a special occasion.
Giles:Why not do things differently to celebrate?
He leaned over to nip softly at my neck, his fingers sliding between my legs, caressing me gently.
Jily:Ahhh—Giles—
My voice was a breathless gasp, and Giles lifted his head to meet my gaze.
Giles:But before that, there is something that I feel I must tell you.
Giles moved closer still, his lips brushing against my ears.
Giles:Even if something happens and you lose your memory again—
Giles:I will always continue to love you.
Giles's whispered words tickled my ear, filling my heart with happiness.
I whimpered softly as his fingers continued to pleasure me.
I reached up and wrapped my arms around him, clinging tightly to him.
(Tonight, I want to spend the rest of the night sharing my love with you—)
(So that I never, ever forget you again.)

After Episode
It was a stormy night, the sky outside thick with clouds.
Giles had rescued Jily from an awful carriage accident earlier in the day.
Now he visited her room, relieved to find her finally awake.
Giles "How are you feeling?"
Jily "I feel much better, thank you."
Giles was frowning with worry, but Jily smiled politely at him.
(Goodness me.
(Do you know just how worried I've been?)
Giles "All that matters is that you are safe."
Giles sat down next to the bed, touching Jily's cheek gently, and he saw her stiffen slightly in response.
(Jily?)
Something about her reaction didn't seem right, but he leaned towards her to kiss her forehead.
Jily turned her face away from him, as if avoiding him, and then spoke in an attempt to change the topic.
Jily "Those are very pretty shoes. Who do they belong to?"
Giles followed her gaze, and his eyes widened in shock as he saw the shoes she was looking at.
For a moment his mind was blank, and it took him a while to find his voice.
Giles "They are... probably your shoes."
He smiled as best he could, dropping his hand away from her face.
(They're the shoes I gave you as a gift to wear to the opera house opening ceremony.)
***
Giles stepped out of Jily's room, hurrying off to see the doctor immediately.
(If she's forgotten about those shoes—
(Then that must mean she's forgotten about me. That explains her reactions, too.
(But why didn't anyone tell me?)
Giles stopped suddenly as a thought dawned on him.
(Really, that's so like you, Jily.)
He slowed down and began to walk at his normal pace, his footsteps echoing down the corridor.
***
It wasn't long until the princess was recovered enough to return to her duties.
Giles "Because of your accident—
Giles "There has been talk that it might be best for you to consider choosing a prince consort sooner rather than later."
Jily "What?"
Jily stared up at Giles in disbelief, but after a long moment she spoke again.
Jily "Very well. If there is anyone you would like me to meet, then I will be happy to do so."
(Oh, Jily.)
Giles blinked slowly, trying to calm his thoughts, and then looked at her again.
Giles "I will arrange some information for you to look over when you have the time."
***
That evening—
Giles "Have you chosen anyone you'd like to meet with?"
Jily "Not yet. It's hard trying to figure out who might be a suitable prince consort just from these documents."
(Hang on, I'm sure we've had a discussion like this before.)
Giles "You don't seem to understand."
Giles smirked as he pushed Jily down on the sofa, and she stared up at him in surprise.
Jily "Giles—what are you—"
(Ahh, this really takes me back.)
He leaned over and whispered in her ear, his voice purposely sensual.
Giles "Even if you choose someone for the sake of the country—
Giles "Will you be able to devote every part of yourself to them?"
(I remember so clearly, right after you'd been chosen as princess—
(We had a discussion just like this.)
Giles "Is there anyone you could do that for?"
Jily looked every bit as confused as she had then, and Giles pulled away from her, still smiling.
Giles "I'm just joking.
Giles "I do apologize. Perhaps that was a little too strong as a teaching method."
(When I teased you like this that first time—
(I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I'd fall in love with you.)
Giles stood up straight, and his next words were gentle.
Giles "Wysteria's needs are important, but so are your own personal feelings.
Giles "After all, you will be with that person for the rest of your life."
His words seemed to echo in his own heart, and he turned away before she could see his expression change.
He shut the door behind him as he stepped into the corridor.
For a long time he simply stood there, his arms wrapped around himself, fingers clenched in the fabric of his shirt.
***
At last it was the evening of the opera house opening ceremony.
Giles watched from the wings as Jily finished her speech, and breathed a sigh of relief.
(You did very well. I knew you would.)
His heart was aching, and he stepped out of the opera house, wishing he could leave the pain behind him.
He found a place away from prying eyes, and stood there alone in silence, his eyes shut.
All too soon he heard the sound of footsteps, and he opened his eyes to see Jily.
(The opera is about to start—why aren't you in your seat?)
He glanced at his pocket watch and approached Jily.
Giles "What are you doing out here?"
He spoke softly, and she turned with a start, staring up at him.
Giles "You should return to your seat—"
Jily "Why, Giles?"
Her voice was unsteady as she interrupted him, and he blinked at her in confusion.
Jily "Why didn't you tell me that I'd forgotten you?"
(Jily—)
Jily "These shoes—
Jily "You gave them to me as a gift, yet I forgot—"
(You've remembered at last.)
Jily was biting her lip, tears streaming down her face, and Giles smiled at her.
Giles "There was no need to tell you."
Jily "What? Why?"
(It's true, though.
(I didn't need to tell you. After all—)
Giles "Even if you don't have your memories of me—
Giles "My feelings for you will never change."
(Not even for a moment.
(I will always love you, no matter what.)
Giles "Besides, it was clear that my teaching had stayed with you.
Giles "I was so proud of you, thinking of the country first with each action you took."
(You really are someone special.)
Giles smiled down at Jily as he wrapped her in his embrace.
Jily "Giles—"
Giles "And also—
Giles "No, wait.
Giles "Right now we have a job to do, so let's go inside and watch the opera."
Jily "Okay."
Giles "I look forward to discussing the rest later, when we're alone in your room."
He murmured the words in her ear, a sweet promise before he turned and walked inside.
At last the ceremony was over, and the moon shone bright and high in the sky.
Giles lifted Jily in his arms, kissing her gently on her neck.
Giles "The reason I didn't say anything to you about your lost memories—
Giles "Is because deep down in my heart, I believed that you wouldn't forget me for long."
Giles laid Jily gently down on the bed, smiling down at her.
He gently caressed her legs, sliding his fingers up her bare skin.
Jily "Ohhhh—"
Giles "I am the one who taught you."
He whispered in her ear as he nibbled gently on her earlobe.
Her body quivered and writhed in his arms, and he smiled as he kissed her softly.
Giles "Even if something happens and you lose your memory again—
Giles "I will always love you, and only you.
Giles "However—
Giles "That has nothing to do with this."
(The fact that you could forget me even for a short while means that I haven't been trying hard enough.)
Jily "What do you mean?"
Giles "I will have to work harder to make sure you always remember me."
Giles lifted her skirts and slid his fingers under them as he kissed her again.
She reached up and wrapped her arms tightly around him, and he smiled down at her.
(I never want to go through something like that again.)
The moonlight from the window shone down on her beautiful skin as he slowly removed her clothes...
