The moon was visible through the window, casting a gentle silver light into the bedroom.
Nico：I can't believe it's finally tomorrow, Jily.
Nico set a glass of chamomile tea down on the table as he spoke.
Jily：Me either. Thanks for the tea.
I gave him a foolish grin as I picked up the glass carefully.
I sipped at the tea, the smell relaxing me.

（We're really going on our honeymoon tomorrow!
（I'm so excited, and I'm so nervous, and—ahh, I don't know what to feel!）

I thought back to our wedding day, and the beautiful ceremony we'd had together.
Happiness bubbled up inside of me, and I couldn't stop smiling.
Nico：Geez, even I'm getting excited about it.
Jily：You are? Why?
Nico：Because you look so happy!

（Oh, Nico—）

His words were so bright and friendly and for some reason I found myself blushing a little.
Jily：Thanks, Nico.
Nico：There's no need to thank me.

Nico laughed softly, his eyes dancing as he studied me.
Nico：No matter what happens, just call and I'll be there.
Nico：As the queen's personal attendant, I'll do everything I can to make your life easier!
Jily：Thank you.
His words brought a smile to my face, and I turned to look at the window again.
I could just see the lights of the town, twinkling in the distance.
