Prologue：
Valentine's Day was swiftly approaching.
Jily "Oh, good! I think this one finally turned out."
I was using the kitchen in the knights' barracks to test out some chocolate recipes in preparation for the big day.
After all, it was the very first Valentine's Day my boyfriend and I would spend together since we'd become a couple.
I was determined to make it a special day, so I was hard at work making chocolate.
Jily "Now time for the moment of truth..."
Just as I picked up one of the chocolates to give it a taste test, I heard a light knock on the kitchen door.
Robert "Looks like you're hard at work."
The door opened and Robert came in with a smile on his face.
Robert "I was wondering what you were doing in here. Am I interrupting?"
Jily "Of course not! I just finished, actually."
I had asked Robert for lots of advice regarding the chocolates I was making for my boyfriend.
It was really sweet of him to be so helpful to me.
Robert "You must be exhausted from your duties, but here you are still working on the chocolate."
Robert surveyed the kitchen counter, which was jam-packed with various cooking tools and ingredients.
I could hear the concern in his voice.
Robert "Are you sure you're not pushing yourself too hard? You've been at it every day now."
Jily "I'm fine. I'm actually enjoying myself, because I know that I'm doing it all for him."
Just imagining the happy look on my boyfriend's face gave me a burst of energy and motivation.
Robert "You know, you've been glowing ever since you fell in love.
Robert "Your boyfriend is a very lucky man."
Jily "I'm the lucky one."
I suddenly realized I was gushing and brought a hand up to my hot cheek.
Robert's lips curved into a smile as he continued, his voice warm and affectionate.
Robert "He'll be so happy knowing you went to so much trouble for him."
Jily "...Thank you."
Robert "I hope you have a lovely Valentine's Day."
After that night, time just seemed to fly by.
And finally, Valentine's Day had arrived.
Thanks to my long hours of practice, I'd managed to make a perfect batch of chocolates for my sweetheart.
I couldn't wait to spend the whole day with him; my heart was already pounding with anticipation.
（Normally I'm too shy to tell him everything I feel.
（But when I give him the chocolates, I want to tell him just how much I love him.）
I held the little package of chocolates against my chest and smiled.
But little did I know that my boyfriend had prepared a sweet surprise for me, too...
