Prologue：
This is the tale of an epic love story from another world.
And your answers have the power to capture your suitor's heart...
Women filled the dance floor in their fanciest gowns.
Handsome, well-dressed men stepped in time with them as they danced the waltz.
Jily "Who should I choose...?"
I watched the couples dance gracefully with each other from the corner of the room.
Noblewoman "Good evening, Princess."
Suddenly, a noblewoman I was friendly with came over to talk to me.
Noblewoman "There are so many handsome men at the ball tonight, don't you think?
Noblewoman "There's only a week left until the announcement ceremony. Have you made your decision yet?"
Jily "Honestly, not yet."
Ten men had proposed to me, but I was still torn deciding between them.
（There is someone I'm definitely leaning towards, though...）
As I gazed absently at the man's face, I heard a soft chuckle beside me.
Noblewoman "...Are you sure? The answer seems obvious to me."
Jily "W-What...?"
Honestly, I hadn't sorted through how I felt about him yet.
The noblewoman just gave me a meaningful smile and walked off.
Just then, I turned and saw Sid approaching me.
Sid "Only a week till the announcement but you haven't decided on who'll be the potential prince consort, huh?
Sid "Wouldn't mind volunteering for the job myself."
He flashed me his usual mischievous grin as he leaned in to whisper into my ear.
Jily "Sid..."
He chuckled at my reaction and breezed past me, leaving me in surprised silence.
Albert "Jily. It's so nice to see you again."
Albert came over and bowed his head politely.
Albert "King Byron saw you standing here alone and asked me to come keep you company."
Jily "Oh, Albert! Thank you so much for coming to talk to me."
Albert "Not at all. Actually, there was something I wanted to tell you.
Albert "I've been thinking about things, and..."
Jily "...Yes?"
Albert "...Ah, on second thought, never mind. This isn't the time nor the place. Perhaps I shall tell you later."
Albert looked a bit flustered before turning on his heel and disappearing back into the crowd.
Although the curiosity was killing me, I continued making my way around the party to greet the guests.
After a while, I slipped out of the ballroom to get some fresh air.
Leo "Evening, Princess."
I turned to see Leo standing there. He smiled at me and dipped down into an elegant bow.
Leo "There are more guests here than usual tonight, hm?
Leo "I have a feeling they're all here to make a good impression on you, hoping you choose them.
Leo "I'd be lying if I wasn't counting myself among them, of course. You really are a lovely princess, after all."
Jily "You're such a flirt, Leo."
Leo chuckled and winked at me, flashing me a mischievous smile before leaving.
Even though I knew he was probably only joking, I still felt my cheeks heat up.
The night breeze felt so good as I stepped into the garden. But suddenly I realized I wasn't alone.
Louis "Jily. Thank you so much for inviting me tonight."
Jily "Of course. Thank you for coming."
Louis "...I know the announcement ceremony is coming up, and I want you to choose me.
Louis "And I hope you do, from the bottom of my heart."
He left before I could even respond.
I let out a sigh and was about to go back inside when someone else caught the corner of my eye.
It was King Byron, leaning over the balcony and looking up at the stars.
Jily "Thank you so much for coming tonight, King Byron.
Jily "I saw Albert earlier. He told me you sent him to come talk to me.
Jily "That was awfully kind of you."
Byron's face softened as he looked at me, his dark hair blowing in the chilly breeze.
Byron "I'm not kind to just anybody."
Jily "What?"
Byron "I'll be honest with you, Jily. Putting all politics aside for the moment, I'm very interested in you."
Jily "Y-You are...?"
Byron "...It's nothing. We can talk about it more later."
His cloak fluttered behind him as he walked back into the ballroom.
As I watched him leave, I thought about all the men I'd spoken with tonight.
I was still quite surprised about their reactions, but I knew their words had been genuine.
But more importantly, I found myself fixated on one of the men, specifically...
