Leo, Chapter 1, Part 1/5:
I glanced over at Leo, who was standing next to me looking up at the stars.
(I wish Leo and I could be alone together in a place no one else has even heard of.
(If that wish could come true—
(Well, I wouldn't mind suffering a little prank.)
I sent my wish up to the star, and then I took a step closer to Leo.
***
It was an overcast day, with the sun peeking through a gap in the clouds.
I was in the study, learning about foreign politics from Leo.
Jily:Even so, the kingdom of Fairmark sure is pretty.
I smiled with admiration as I gazed down at the illustration in the textbook.
Leo:It is, isn't it? I'll be able to tell you more about what it's like there soon.
Leo placed a gentle hand on my head as he spoke, his fingers caressing my hair.
Jily:What do you mean?
Leo:I'm going there soon on a diplomatic excursion, to see just how stable their politics really are.
Leo:It may come in handy for future trade negotiations with them.
Jily:I see.
(I've only really read about these other countries in books. I wish I could go with you and learn something too.)
As I sat there thinking idly, Leo leaned closer and caught my eye.
Leo:I don't suppose you want to go with me?
Jily:What? Can I really?
I looked up at Leo in surprise, my eyes wide and hopeful.
He frowned a little, his expression thoughtful.
Leo:It's a bit sudden, so it might be difficult to just say 'I'm taking the princess with me!' But...
Jily:But?
Leo, Chapter 1, Part 2/5:
Jily:But?
I waited impatiently for Leo to finish his sentence.
He gazed at me for a moment, and then smiled sweetly.
Leo:How's this?
Leo:If you give me a kiss, you can go with me.
Jily:Leo—
Leo:What, don't you want to?
Leo laughed, his grin widening as he stared at me.
(Ahh, you're always such a tease!
(I almost want to say no just to see if you'd pout or not.)
I pressed my lips together as I met his gaze, but I couldn't deny how badly I wanted to go.
(Still, if you're going to tease me, then I can tease you back.)
Jily:Fine!
I leaned over and purposely placed a soft kiss against his cheek instead of his lips.
Leo:That's it?
Leo pouted at me, his expression dissatisfied, and I tried my best to hide my smile.
(I can't help it—I like getting one up on you sometimes.)
I met his gaze steadily for a moment, my lips pressed together.
Then I leaned over again and kissed him on the lips this time.
Our mouths moved together, hot and passionate, and I closed my eyes.
At last our lips parted again, and Leo smiled contentedly.
He wrapped his arm around my shoulders, pulling me closer.
Leo:That's better.
Jily:You're so picky.
I lifted my head and grinned as I looked up at him.
Leo smirked down at me in response, his eyes dancing.
Leo:I know. But I did promise, didn't I? So I'll take you with me.
Leo:Just leave all the arrangements to me.
Leo, Chapter 1, Part 3/5:
That afternoon—
Leo attended a regular meeting for the bureaucrats in the palace.
During the meeting, he mentioned the princess's desire to travel with him to Fairmark, and was met with an uproar.
Bureaucrat 1:There's no way we can allow such an unexpected change of events!
Bureaucrat 2:Besides, the princess wasn't even invited for this particular visit.
Leo sat quietly, listening to them voice their various objections before he spoke up.
Leo:I think it's important for the princess to know our neighboring countries—not just from books, but through experience.
He looked around the room, watching the disgruntled mood slowly change.
Leo:Besides, are we really in a position to ignore the princess's wishes on this?
Leo:Especially when it will likely benefit both her and us?
Bureaucrat:Well—
Leo smiled brightly as he looked around at the other bureaucrats, who avoided his gaze.
He waited, but none of them could seem to find any further objections.
***
Thanks to Leo's persuasive skills, it was agreed that I could travel to the kingdom of Fairmark with him.
I was filled with excitement as I finished packing everything I'd need for the trip.
Leo:Are you ready?
Leo stepped into my room and glanced over at my luggage.
Jily:Yes! Leo, thank you so much for taking me with you.
I smiled brightly at him, full of gratitude and happiness.
Leo:Not at all. I'm pretty happy to be taking you with me.
Leo:It'll be nice to be alone together in a new place.
Jily:Oh—
His words suddenly reminded me of the wish I'd made on the star only a few days earlier.
(Don't tell me the star really did grant my wish?)
At that moment there was a knock at the door, and then I heard a familiar voice speaking from the hallway.
???:Do you have a moment?
(That voice—)
Leo, Chapter 1, Part 4/5:
(Is that Giles?)
Just as I thought that, the door opened a crack.
Giles peered into the room, his expression as calm as ever.
Giles:If you will permit me for a moment.
He opened the door and stepped in, closing it behind him.
He looked around, his gaze pausing for a moment on Leo.
Giles:So you're here too, Leo.
Leo:Well, yeah. Did something happen? It's pretty late.
Giles nodded calmly at Leo's question, and turned to look at me again.
Giles:I'd like to talk to you regarding the visit to Fairmark.
Giles:I would like to add a condition to your visit.
Jily:A condition?
I looked up into his calm eyes, feeling a sudden sense of unease.
Giles:Yes. You are visiting without having received a formal invitation, which is ultimately impolite to the country itself.
Giles:So for this visit I would like you to make sure that they don't know you're the princess.
Jily:You don't want them to know?
(What on earth is this all about?)
I tried desperately to make sense of Giles's words somehow.
Giles:Fairmark is a long way away from here, and they have no idea what you really look like.
Giles:I'm just thinking about the possible repercussions. So this is my condition.
Leo's expression brightened suddenly at Giles's final words.
Leo:I just had a great idea.
Leo:How about if you're coming along as my assistant, Jily?
Leo smiled cheerfully at me even as I blinked up at him.
Jily:Your assistant? Really?
Leo, Chapter 1, Part 5/5:
The carriage swayed as we travelled towards Fairmark for our trip.
I stared out the window, thinking about the fact that I was now Leo's assistant rather than the princess.
Leo:How about if you're coming along as my assistant, Jily?
(I have no idea if this is going to go well or not, but—
(Now that it's been decided, I've just got to give it my all!)
I watched the scenery out the window, not really taking it in, until Leo's voice brought me back to myself.
Leo:We're here, Jily.
The horses whinnied as the carriage pulled to a stop.
Leo smiled at me as he offered me his hand.
Jily:Thank you.
I took his hand and let him help me down from the carriage.
Jily:So this is Fairmark?
The beautiful scenery that unfolded before my eyes was like nothing I'd ever seen.
I felt captivated by the peacefulness around me, unable to even take a step forward.
(It's like an entirely different world from Wysteria.)
Leo took my hand, a gentle smile on his face, as if he understood how I was feeling.
He turned and pointed to the large castle overlooking the town.
Leo:From here on we'll be talking to the people of Fairmark Palace.
Leo:So stay with me, and help me out with whatever I'm doing, okay?
Jily:Okay, I can do that.
Leo:Good luck, my cute little assistant.
Leo smiled at me, his expression more gentle than usual as he reached up to caress my cheek.
Leo, Chapter 2, Part 1/5:
We arrived at Fairmark Palace and were shown into a parlor room.
The person waiting there to greet us smiled at us both and stepped forward.
He looked at me and said something, his tone clearly friendly.
(Aww, heck. I studied the book Leo gave me as much as I could, but—
(I have absolutely no idea what he just said!)
I smiled back at him, trying to hide my confusion.
Then I glanced over at Leo, just as he stepped forwards.
Leo smiled and said something to the man.
(Wow, that seems to have worked! I wonder what they're saying?)
I looked up at Leo as he spoke, feeling awed and a little overwhelmed.
Leo paused in what he was saying and leaned over to murmur,
Leo:Jily, curtsey.
Jily:Okay!
I quickly curtseyed as formally as I could, smiling at the man.
Leo said something else to the man, and then spoke to me again.
Leo:I've only read this stuff in books. I'm impressed that I'm able to talk to him as well as I am.
Jily:What?
My eyes widened in surprise as I stared up at Leo, smiling blithely down at me.
(Leo, you're amazing. I can't believe you can talk to him so normally just from having studied a few books!)
Leo:Oh, and he said that since we've come all this way, we should stay here at the palace tonight.
Leo smiled cheerfully at me, looking entirely too pleased with himself.
***
(I had no idea this would be so exhausting!)
We'd had several long meetings with people in the palace, all of them in a language I couldn't understand.
But at last Leo and I were shown to the room where we would be staying that night.
Jily:Hang on—
I stepped into the room and looked around me.
For a moment I wasn't sure I could quite believe what I saw.
(I'm—I'm meant to be Leo's assistant, right?)
Leo, Chapter 2, Part 2/5:
(I'm—I'm meant to be Leo's assistant, right?)
The room was dominated by a large double bed, and I looked up at Leo with wide eyes.
Jily:Hey, Leo? I'm here as your assistant, right?
Leo:Of course.
Leo responded calmly, not looking bothered in the slightest.
Jily:...An assistant who sleeps in the same bed as you?
Leo:That's an interesting point.
There was no hesitation in Leo's response, and I narrowed my eyes with suspicion.
Jily:Don't give me that.
Leo:C'mon, what's the problem?
Leo:We should get some rest. It was a long trip, and I'm tired, aren't you?
Leo sat down on the edge of the bed, glancing up at me.
I sighed softly, brushing my hair back from my face.
Suddenly I remembered something, and I stared at Leo again.
(Hang on a minute—)
Jily:When you told me to curtsey, how exactly did you introduce me?
Leo:I didn't so much introduce you, per se. The other guy already had his own ideas about who you were.
Jily:And what were they?
I questioned him sharply, and Leo sighed and then gave me a bright smile.
Leo:He thought you were my wife.
Leo, Chapter 2, Part 3/5:
Leo:He thought you were my wife.
For a moment I didn't know what to say.
Jily:Your wife?!
Leo:Yep. But hey, we're meant to keep your identity a secret, right?
Jily:Well, yes, but—
(Well, I don't HAVE to be an assistant—I guess it's fine so long as they don't know I'm the princess, right?)
Leo seemed completely unconcerned, and I slowly felt the tension in me fade away.
Leo:Besides, if we're a married couple, then nobody will say anything if we go out together tonight.
Leo:This is a rare opportunity. Don't you want to go down into the town and see what Fairmark is really like?
***
I was definitely interested in seeing the sights, so Leo and I decided to go for a walk down in the town.
When I looked up at the sky, it was clear and filled with more stars than I'd ever seen.
Leo:Jily.
Leo turned to look at me, smiling gently.
He reached out and took my hand in his, twining his fingers with mine.
His hand was warm and reassuring, and I caught my breath.
I looked up and smiled brightly up at him.
(I wish this could always last—)
Leo:Wouldn't it be nice if time were to stop right now? So this could always last?
Leo smiled brightly as he spoke my thoughts before I'd even finished thinking them.
Jily:I was just thinking the same thing.
I blinked up at him with delight, feeling as if our souls were connected somehow.
Leo stopped walking at my words, and turned to look at me.
Leo:Really?
Leo:Were you also thinking about this?
Leo, Chapter 2, Part 4/5:
Leo:Were you also thinking about this?
Leo smiled meaningfully, his words soft.
Then he stepped away from the main street, leading me after him.
He stopped in a deserted alleyway, and I looked around.
Jily:Leo?
Leo pressed me up against the nearby wall, his hand on either side of me.
There was desire burning deep in his eyes, and I felt my heart racing.
Leo:What do you think?
Leo:Do you know why I wanted to go out?
Leo reached up and slid his thumb along my lower lip, and I swallowed.
I shook my head slowly, my gaze never leaving his.
Leo:Because I was thinking how fun it would be to do something naughty with you out here.
Jily:Leo—!
Leo's lips pressed against mine in a sudden kiss, cutting off my words.
His kiss was deep and full of passion, and I closed my eyes for a moment, before I remembered where we were.
Jily:Leo—what if someone comes by?
(We're ambassadors for Wysteria, aren't we? What if someone saw us?)
Leo:Then keep your voice down.
Leo's tone was teasing as he touched my lips again, his index finger tracing their outline.
I sighed softly at the sensual touch, trying to keep quiet.
Leo slid his fingers slowly down towards my neck, caressing along my collarbone.
(Hang on—)
I realized something then, and a wave of uncertainty hit me.
Leo must have seen my expression, and he stopped, pulling back a little.
Leo:What's the matter?
(Uh-oh, what should I do?)
Leo, Chapter 2, Part 5/5:
Leo:What's the matter?
Jily:Um, it's nothing.
I tried to smile up at him as best I could, hiding my unease.
I reached up and touched my neck, hoping he wouldn't notice.
(I was wearing my necklace when I left, and I'm sure I felt it just a little while ago, but now it's gone.)
The necklace was a half of a pair that we'd made together, and Leo owned the other half.
(I didn't tell you I was wearing it, and now I can't bring myself to tell you it's gone!)
I obviously wasn't hiding my worry very well, though, because Leo looked concerned.
Leo:Are you feeling unwell?
Jily:No, it's just—
(I wonder where I could've dropped it.)
I forced myself to smile at him, but I knew I was doing an awful job of hiding my feelings.
I dropped my gaze away, feeling foolish, and Leo spoke in a gentle voice.
Leo:Maybe we should get back to the palace.
***
Jily:Oh, Leo...
I sat in bed gazing down at Leo, who lay sleeping soundly beside me.
I couldn't stop thinking about the necklace I'd lost.
(We're going back to Wysteria the day after tomorrow. What if I don't find it?
(And we probably won't be going down into town again, either.
(But it means so much to me—to both of us. Maybe I should just go look around the palace, at least.)
I climbed out of bed, careful not to disturb Leo, and got dressed in silence.
I gave Leo one last glance, and then tiptoed out of the room.
Leo, Chapter 3, Part 1/5:
(I know we came through here earlier, so maybe...)
The moonlight was filtered through the tree branches, and I couldn't see all that well.
But I was so desperate to find the necklace that I was searching the forest just outside the palace.
Leo:Are you feeling unwell?
Leo:Maybe we should get back to the palace.
(If I stay out here much longer, Leo might wake up and get worried about me.
(If I can't find it here, I'll have to just go back to our room.)
I sighed to myself, looking around the area one last time.
As I did so, I heard a rustling sound from a nearby thicket.
Jily I chewed on my lower lip, turning in that direction.
(I hope it's just a rabbit or something.)
I stared at the thicket for a long moment, then started to turn back towards the palace.
Suddenly a strange man wearing armor and a helmet came leaping out of the thicket.
Jily:Oh!
He scowled at me, his expression suspicious, and I struggled to remember the words I'd studied.
Jily:Um—
He began to speak rapidly, his words going on and on.
But he was speaking so fast I couldn't understand a single thing.
(What should I do? I don't understand the language at all, and I don't even know how to tell him that.)
I stood there, feeling helpless, with no idea of how to handle the situation.
After a long moment I hesitantly took a step back from him.
But he seemed to think I was running away, and he yelled something, leaping forward.
He grabbed me roughly by the wrist, and pulled me towards him.
Jily:Ahh!
Leo, Chapter 3, Part 2/5:
Jily:Ahh!
The man began to drag him after me, and I tried to pull away, but he was too strong.
Jily:Please! Please, listen to me!
But he didn't seem to understand a word I said as he dragged me away.
***
Before I knew it, I was stuck in a dark, dusty room, the door shut tight behind me.
(This must be somewhere inside the palace, right?)
We seemed to have come in via some back entrance, and the man had dragged me to this room before shutting me in.
(Leo must be awake by now. He must be so worried! What should I do?)
I sighed softly as I walked over to the window and looked up at the sky.
The sky was filled with countless stars, sparkling distantly.
Leo:Do you want me to tell you, Jily?
Leo:That star is said to be a bit eccentric. If you make a wish, it'll grant it—
Leo:But in return, it'll also play a small prank.
As I stared up at the stars, I remembered my conversation with Leo that day.
(I don't want to believe it's really true, but—
(If this is the prank the star is playing on me—)
I stared up at the stars, trying to see the star I'd wished on that day.
I saw a sudden flash of light, streaming through the sky, as if trying to tell me something.
Jily:Oh!
Leo, Chapter 3, Part 3/5:
???:Are you okay?
I heard a voice distantly calling my name, and I frowned a little.
The voice seemed to call me back from my dreams, and I began to wake up.
(Huh? When did I fall asleep?)
I realized that my eyes were shut, and I opened them slowly.
Leo:Are you okay, Jily?
Jily:Leo!
Relief flooded through me, and without even thinking I threw my arms around him.
Leo hugged me gently against him, stroking my cheek reassuringly.
Leo:It's okay now.
The relief of being in his arms again was so strong I felt tears threatening.
Leo:The palace guard thought you were lost.
Leo:He thought you had nowhere to go, so he put you in here for the time being till he could sort it out.
Jily:Is that what he was saying?
My hands were still shaking a little, and Leo caught hold of them, twining his fingers with mine.
Leo:It must have been scary, not being able to talk to him. But it's okay now.
Leo:I'm so glad I found you.
Leo's voice was soft in my ear, but I could hear the relief in it.
(You must've been so worried. I've caused such a fuss, and probably put so many people out.)
The fear was ebbing away, being replaced by calm, and I pulled back a little to look up at Leo.
Jily:Leo, I'm so sorry for worrying you.
I looked up at him, wanting to meet his gaze directly.
But he was looking down, a smile on his face as he reached towards my feet.
Leo:Is that—
Jily:Huh?
Leo, Chapter 3, Part 4/5:
Jily:Huh?
I looked down to where Leo was pointing.
To my surprise I saw that my necklace was caught up in my shoe.
Leo laughed softly, and a moment later I found myself laughing too.
Leo:Ahh, you make me laugh. Getting your necklace caught in your shoes and then going and getting lost.
(Geez, I make myself laugh too!)
Jily:I was looking for it, you know!
Leo:You were?
Leo retrieved my necklace from my shoe, and I sighed with relief as I took it from him.
Jily:I ended up in this situation because I was looking for it!
I gave Leo a wry smile as I explained, and he smiled gently at me.
(But what was it doing on my shoe?
(I can't even imagine how it could've fallen off and got caught right there!)
As I stood there staring down at it, Leo spoke gently.
Leo:You didn't have to go looking for it. We could've just made another one together.
Jily:I know, but—
Jily:All the times we make things together, laugh together, cry together—
Jily:Those are my memories with you, and I don't want to lose even a single one.
(I guess that's just how much I love you.)
Leo's eyes widened in surprise, just for a moment.
Then he smiled again, his expression sweet and joyful.
Leo:You always know what to say to make me happy, Jily.
His smile deepened, and then he took my hand in his again.
Leo:In that case, why don't we go and make some new memories together?
Leo, Chapter 3, Part 5/5:
Leo and I returned to our guest room, and I hurried to get changed.
Jily:Are you sure it's okay?
Leo:Yep. They feel really bad about you getting locked up like that.
Leo:So they want us to stay another day to make up for it.
Leo smiled broadly as he explained.
Leo:So hurry up and get ready so we can go out. We need to make lots of wonderful memories while we're here!
He patted me reassuringly on the shoulder, and I smiled up at him.
Jily:Okay!
(Yesterday I didn't know what to think.
(But today I actually feel glad about what happened.)
My smile broadened as I reached out and took Leo's hand.
He smiled back at me, squeezing my fingers gently.
Leo:Okay now, one the count of three, say where you want to go.
Jily:Okay.
Leo:Here I go, then. One, two, three—
Leo:Tailor.
Jily:Art gallery.
Our answers were totally different, and we both started laughing.
Leo:We were thinking of totally different things, huh?
Jily:Yep!
Jily:Which should we go with?
Leo:Well obviously, you should decide that.
Leo gave me his usual sweet smile as he waited for my answer.

Jily:Okay then, let's go to the tailor.
Leo:Are you sure you don't want to go to the art gallery?
Jily:I'm sure.
Jily:After all, I'm sure you have some specific idea in mind for going to the tailor.
I smiled as I studied Leo's expression.
Leo:Ahh, you always see right through me.
Leo grinned as well, enclosing my hand in his.
Jily:So why do you want to go to the tailor?
Leo:That's something for you to look forward to finding out when we get there.
Leo's smile broadened, and then he linked his elbow with mine.
Leo:Okay, let's get going!
***
Leo and I made our way to a tailor's shop in the town.
Leo:How about this?
I stepped into the changing room to try on the dress Leo suggested.
When I stepped out again, the dressmaker's eyes were wide with surprise as she spoke quickly, smiling at me.
Leo:She says it really suits you.
I smiled at the dressmaker, and then stared at myself in the mirror.
(I had no idea the dresses here in Fairmark were so pretty!
(I like them all. How could I ever choose?)
The dress was vividly colored, and I smiled at Leo's reflection as he stepped up behind me.
Leo:She's right—it really suits you.
Jily:Thanks, Leo.
Leo reached out and took my hand, smiling at me in the mirror.
Leo:Let's go, then.
Jily:Wait, what?
(I thought I was just trying on the dress—)
Leo, Chapter 4-Sweet Ending, Part 2/5:
(I wonder where we're going?)
Leo had paid for the dress and told me to keep it on, and then he led me through the streets of the town.
Soon we arrived at Fairmark's most famous garden.
We wandered through the garden, enjoying the scenery, until Leo stopped and turned to me.
Leo:Have you heard about this, Jily?
Leo:Apparently the nobles of Fairmark play tag in this park, as couples.
I listened to Leo as I stared at the beautiful flowers and trees around us.
Jily:Do they really?
Leo:Yep. And when a guy catches a girl—
Leo:She has to do whatever he says.
Leo's smirk was mischievous, and I was struck by a sudden suspicion.
Jily:Hang on a minute—
The look in Leo's eyes turned my suspicion into certainty.
I looked down at the Fairmark dress I was wearing.
(So when you asked me to wear this dress, and when you brought me here—)
Leo grinned at me, seeing the understanding in my eyes, and then let go of my hand.
Leo:We sure look like a couple from Fairmark right now, don't we?
(I knew it!)
Leo:If you don't run away—
Leo:I'll catch you all too soon.
Leo, Chapter 4-Sweet Ending, Part 3/5:
Leo:If you don't run away—
I looked up at Leo's mischievous grin, and the sparkle in his gaze.
I laughed as I turned and began to run away from him.
(He'll never find me here!)
I found a row of shaped bowers, and carefully hid myself between them.
I caught my breath, looking slowly around me, waiting for Leo's footsteps.
Jily:Oh!
All of a sudden, arms wrapped around me from behind.
Leo:Found you.
Jily:Leo!
I turned in surprise to find him grinning at me, his expression satisfied.
Jily:How did you know I was here?
Leo:I know you. Also, I looked at the map.
Jily:Ahh, you cheat!
I pushed at his shoulder, laughing, and he caught my hand, smiling at me.
Leo:But you remember the rules, right? You have to do whatever I say.
I mock-pouted up at him, trying to hide my smile.
He leaned close and pressed his forehead against mine, catching my gaze.
Leo:I want to do naughty things to you, right here.
Jily:Leo—
My cheeks flushed bright red, and I looked around us, but the gardens seemed empty.
Leo:But it sure would be a waste to take off this pretty dress.
Leo slid his hand down my body, caressing my curves through the fabric.
Leo:So let's just do it like this.
Leo, Chapter 4-Sweet Ending, Part 4/5:
Leo:So let's just do it like this.
Leo whispered in my ear, his voice husky as he reached for the hem of my skirt.
Jily:Leo—what if someone—
Before I could finish my protest, Leo's lips caught mine in a firm kiss.
I gasped softly into his mouth, leaning back against the bower.
His fingers slid under my skirts, sliding up my bare legs inside them.
A thrill of excitement ran through me, and I moaned softly.
I bit my lip, pulling back from the kiss, afraid someone would hear us.
Leo:It's okay, you don't have to hold back. There's no one here but us.
I looked up at his confident smile, and remembered that I hadn't seen anyone else in the garden at all.
Jily:If you're sure.
I could feel the bower at my back, and as I looked around, I realized we were surrounded by hedges.
The curved arch of the bower overhead seemed to enfold us, hiding us.
I looked back at Leo, and he smiled, catching my lips in another kiss.
I closed my eyes again, caught up in the passion of his kisses.
Leo:I'm sure. No one's coming in here.
His whisper was a warm sensation against my lips.
He nibbled on my lower lip, and I quivered in response.
Leo:I promise. We're the only ones here. You don't have to worry.
Leo, Chapter 4-Sweet Ending, Part 5/5:
Jily:Oh, Leo—
I could hear the need in my own voice as I whispered his name between breathless kisses.
I felt suffused with happiness in that moment, yet a strange pinprick of loneliness dogged at me.
Leo:Jily?
Leo seemed to notice my expression change, and he leaned closer.
Leo:What's wrong?
Jily:I don't know why, but I was feeling so happy, because right now we're just like a normal couple.
Jily:And then I remembered that we have to go home to Wysteria, and it made me a bit sad.
His expression was so gentle that I found myself telling him the truth.
(I know I have to do my best as princess, for all of Wysteria.
(But sometimes I want things with Leo to be just like this. Like we're just normal people.)
I gave him a wry smile and dropped my gaze, and then I heard him laugh gently.
Leo:The only reason we ever met was because you're the princess.
Leo:Besides, we can play tag in Wysteria whenever you like.
Jily:Leo—
Leo:But right now...
Leo leaned over and kissed me, a soft, breathy kiss that left me wanting more.
Leo:We're just a normal couple. Just you and me.
His words were husky in my ear, and I remembered the wish I'd made on the star.
(I don't think that star played a prank on me at all.
(I think it caused all this to happen so it could grant my wish.)
I looked up at the sky, and Leo leaned over and kissed me on the cheek.
Leo:Let's stay together, forever and ever.
Leo's words sent happiness thrumming through my whole body.
I closed my eyes, remembering the star I'd seen on that day, and I silently thanked it.
I leaned into Leo's embrace and let his warmth and kindness envelop me...

Leo, Chapter 4-Premium Ending, Part 1/6:
Jily:Well...
(Telling me I can choose just makes it harder for me to decide!)
I wanted to visit both of them, and I sat there deliberating for awhile.
Leo watched me until finally he stood up and stretched.
Leo:Then let's go to the art gallery.
He reached out and took my hand, smiling at me.
Leo:I want to grant all your wishes.
***
We walked down into the town to a famous art gallery that was nearby.
We held hands as we wandered its halls, gazing at the beautiful artwork.
(It's like we're just a normal couple, enjoying a normal day. I'm so happy right now.)
Just as I was thinking that, my gaze was caught by one of the paintings.
Jily:That painting—
It was a painting of a man and woman kissing, yet their expressions were mournful and their eyes were averted.
Leo:Oh, that's a famous painting, you know.
Leo stepped closer to the painting, looking up at it as he explained.
Leo:These two love each other, but for certain reasons they can't be together.
Jily:Really?
(I understand. I want to be with Leo, but—
(When we go back to the palace, I have to focus on being the princess.
(So at least, right now, right here—)
I felt sad looking up at them, and I squeezed Leo's hand.
Leo:What's the matter, Jily?
Leo, Chapter 4-Premium Ending, Part 2/6:
Leo:What's the matter, Jily?
Jily:I was just thinking, I wish you and I could stay together like this a little longer.
I looked up at Leo, my voice hesitant as I spoke my feelings aloud.
Jily:Right now, we're just like a normal couple, and it makes me so happy.
Leo's eyes widened in surprise at my words, just for a moment.
Then he smiled gently, and reached out to touch my cheek.
Leo:I feel the same way, Jily.
Jily:Leo—
There was such tenderness in the way he touched my cheek, and it warmed me from within.
(It's so wonderful to be able to share our feelings so honestly with each other.)
I smiled up at him, feeling flush with happiness.
His smile widened, and he took me by the arm again.
Leo:C'mon, let's go.
I nodded and fell into step with him as we continued through the gallery.
When we'd finished looking at all the paintings, we left the gallery behind us.
***
We wandered through the town, looking at the unfamiliar scenery and talking about nothing in particular.
(Wow, the sun's setting already.)
I squinted up at the sun, feeling that twinge of sadness welling up inside again.
Jily:Thank you for today, Leo.
I felt as though I'd learned so much just walking around Fairmark, and I was thoroughly grateful for it.
Leo:No, thank you. It was a lot of fun.
I smiled, feeling happy that we were thinking the same thing again, when—
(What the—)
I felt something wet and cold against my cheek.
(Was that a raindrop?)
I looked up at the sky in surprise.
Leo, Chapter 4-Premium Ending, Part 3/6:
(Was that a raindrop?)
I looked up at the sky in surprise and realized it was sprinkling lightly.
Leo:Oh, that's not good.
The rain was steadily increasing, and Leo caught me by the arm.
Leo:For now—
He looked around the streets, and so did I.
Leo seemed to spot something and urged me to follow him as he ran through the rain.
***
The place Leo found for us to wait out the rain was a small church.
Leo:I think we should stay in here for a while.
Leo stripped off his wet shirt and began to wring out the water.
Jily:Yeah, me too.
I tried to keep my voice even, but I hadn't expected to suddenly see Leo half-naked, and I couldn't help blushing.
I stared at his naked chest with fascination.
Leo:If you keep looking at me like that, I'm gonna start thinking naughty things.
Leo laughed softly, and I hastily lifted my eyes to meet his.
Jily:I didn't mean—
I started to speak, then stopped again, and Leo grinned as he stepped a little closer.
Jily:Leo—
He moved closer still, until our faces were almost touching, and I stared into his eyes.
There was a sudden rattling noise outside, and we both jumped.
I realized it was the sound of a carriage going down the street.
Leo frowned, and then stepped away from me.
Leo:I'll see if I can hail that carriage. Wait here.
He threw his shirt on hastily as he dashed towards the door.
Halfway there he glanced back over his shoulder and smiled at me.
Leo:We'll pick up where we left off when we get back.
The husky promise in his voice set my heart pounding as I watched him vanish through the door.
Leo, Chapter 4-Premium Ending, Part 4/6:
Leo managed to hail the carriage, and we made it safely back to the palace.
My bag was drenched with rain and twice as heavy, so it was a relief to reach our room and put it down.
Leo:That was some rain, huh?
Jily:It really was.
Leo's gaze travelled down my body and then stopped.
Jily:Leo?
He stared at my body in silence for a moment, and I looked down as well.
Then he looked up again, his eyes meeting mine.
Leo:I at least got to wring my shirt out, so I'm not that wet.
Leo:But you're soaked—you should probably have a bath before you catch a cold.
***
I had a long, hot bath and then returned to our room.
I found Leo sitting on the sofa, reading a book while he waited.
Jily:Oh, Leo—
Leo:Yes?
I hurriedly tied the front of my bathrobe tighter shut.
Jily:I thought you'd already be asleep.
Leo:Not a chance.
Leo took off his glasses and set them on the table with his book.
He stood up from the sofa and walked towards me.
Leo:After all...
Leo reached out and twined his fingers in the ties on the front of my robe.
I licked my lips slowly as I looked up at him, waiting for him to continue.
Leo:There's something I have to check.
Leo, Chapter 4-Premium Ending, Part 5/6:
Leo:There's something I have to check.
Leo twined his fingers in the ties of my bathrobe, slowly undoing them.
Jily:Oh really? What?
I hid my smile as best I could, watching him with wide eyes.
He leaned closer and whispered in my ear, his breath warm and intimate.
Leo:It's something I need to see with my own eyes.
His voice was enticing and syrupy sweet, and it sent a shiver down my spine.
I smiled slowly at him, and his smile widened.
He opened my bathrobe slowly, letting it hang loosely from my shoulders as he gazed down at my body.
Leo:Did you wash properly?
Jily:I did.
I nodded, feeling warm and wanton under that intense, needy stare.
Leo:Even your chest? Even your legs?
There was mischief in his eyes and voice, and I blushed a little, watching his gaze travel up and down me.
He lifted one eyebrow, looking up to meet my eyes again.
Leo:Jily?
I came back to myself with a start, and smiled slowly at him.
Jily:I washed every single part of me.
(Leo, you're such a tease. But I kinda like it.)
I chewed on my lower lip as I looked at him, waiting to see what he'd do next.
Without warning he wrapped me in his arms, lifting me into the air.
I laughed in surprise as he carried me across to the bed and set me down on it.
He pushed me back against the covers, and I lay there looking up at him.
There was something wicked about his smile as he spoke in a husky voice.
Leo:Okay, then.
Leo:Do you mind if I check and make sure?
Leo, Chapter 4-Premium Ending, Part 6/6:
Leo:Do you mind if I check and make sure?
Leo reached out and slid the bathrobe off me, baring my body completely.
He smiled slowly as he stared down at me, lying naked beneath him.
Leo:I like this.
Leo:You look very tempting, fresh out of the bath.
Jily:Leo—stop teasing me.
I felt suddenly shy to have him staring at me for so long, and I frowned up at him.
He grinned and undid his shirt, dropping it on the floor behind him.
Leo:Why?
(What do you mean, 'why'?)
Jily:Because you're supposed to be being nice to me.
I pouted up at him, and he leaned a little closer, a smile gracing his lips.
Leo:But you know what I'm going to do next, right?
There was desire flickering deep in his gaze, and my heart skipped a beat.
He reached towards me, his fingers caressing my cheek.
Leo:And you know how much I enjoy looking at you, right?
Jily:I guess I do.
The love and need in his eyes was so bright I almost couldn't look away.
His warm lips pressed against mine in a strong kiss, urgent and needy.
I moaned softly, closing my eyes and kissing him back.
He threaded his fingers through my hair, letting it flow down my back.
Jily:Leo—
I gasped his name between kisses as he leaned closer, pressing his body down against mine...

Now enjoy a story where his forbidden wish comes true...
Leo:I had a dream.
Leo:You and I were in a secret room, hidden away... doing this.
(I don't know why, but sometimes I get so flustered when it comes to you.)
He began to kiss her neck, and she gasped softly, her head tilting back.
Will you take a peek at this sweet, sexy story, just for you?
