It was a beautiful day, the sky bright and clear and only a few clouds drifting aimlessly by.
I was in my room, quietly reading a book as I took a short break from my work.
I soon found myself caught up in the story, eagerly scanning the words that filled each page, until a sentence jumped out at me.

（'The spot where you kiss a person holds a certain meaning', hmm?）

One of the characters had spoken the words aloud, and I paused for a moment, turning them over in my mind.

（Wow—they really do have meaning.）

As I read the next few lines and learned the meaning of those kisses, an image of a certain man's face flashed through my mind.

（I wonder what he'd think about a kiss like this?）

I giggled to myself, running my finger across the words on the page, and just then I heard a knock at the door.
Nico "Jily! It's time for your next meeting!"
Jily "Ahh!"
Nico's bubbly, cheerful voice echoed through the room, cutting straight through my racy thoughts.
I turned quickly, just in time to see him stepping in through the door.
Almost without thinking I slid the book around behind my back, trying to look as casual as possible.
Nico paused just inside the doorway, his eyes wide as they met mine.

（Damn, I was hoping I'd been a little more surreptitious than that.
（But you really startled me!）

He was staring at me, and I blushed suddenly, wondering if he could read my thoughts in my expression.
Jily "What's the matter, Nico?"
Nico "Did you just hide something from me, Jily?"
Jily "What? No, of course not!"
Nico "That sort of answer only makes you seem more suspicious."

（Ahh, why am I even trying to hide it?
（I mean, you know how I feel about him.）

I shook my head ruefully and brought out the book from behind my back, resting it in my lap.
Jily "Okay, look, I was reading this book.
Jily "I just got up to this part talking about how the spot where you kiss someone has a certain meaning.
Jily "And I was just thinking about that, and—well, you startled me out of my thoughts and I hid the book without really thinking."
Nico "But...
Nico "Ohh! You were thinking about kissing him like that, weren't you?"
Jily "Yeah."
I gave Nico an awkward grin, and he chuckled in response, his whole expression lighting up.
Nico "In that case, why don't you kiss him in that spot the next time you see him?"
Jily "Just like that?"
Nico "Sure, why not? If you told him what it means, I'm sure it'd make him happy!"
Nico's eyes seemed to sparkle with amusement, and I wasn't sure if he was joking or serious.

（But you're right—I'd definitely like to kiss him like that,
（and tell him what it means.）

I looked down at the book again, a slow smile crossing my face as I considered the idea more carefully...

It was early evening, and the only sound outside was the whisper of the wind through the trees.
The moon was full and bright in the sky, giving everything a soft, silver glow.
Jily "Leo, thanks for lending me this. I'll put it back on the shelf, okay?"
Leo "Sure, thanks."
I'd stopped by Leo's room to return a book I'd borrowed from him, and I smiled at him as I stepped over to the bookshelf.

（Hmm, I think you grabbed it from this shelf.
（Ahh, there's the spot.）

Jily "Hey, this book—"
As I returned the book to the shelf, another book nearby caught my eye.

（I didn't expect you to have a copy of this!）

I felt suddenly giddy as a schoolgirl as I pulled the book down from the shelf and moved over to the sofa.
I sat down next to Leo, and he leaned closer to study the book in my hand.
Leo "Did you want to read that next?"
Jily "I was actually reading this book earlier today. Well, some of it, anyway."
Leo "I see. Did you read the part about how the place where you kiss someone has a certain meaning?"
Jily "That's exactly the part I was up to."
Leo "Now you've got me curious. Where would you kiss me?"

My gaze moved immediately to his neck, always so artfully framed by his loosely opened collar.
His neck was long and graceful somehow, and I watched, transfixed for a moment as he swallowed.
I could feel his gaze on me, and I looked up to find him smirking knowingly.
I met his gaze directly, giving him a slow smile in return, and then I looked away coyly.

My heart was racing with anticipation, and a moment laughter I heard his soft laughter in my ear.
Leo "Wait, don't tell me."
Jily "Why not?"
I looked up to find him grinning at me, his face so close our noses were almost touching.
I loved that vibrant light in his eyes, and I almost kissed him right then, but I wanted to find out what game he was playing first.
Leo "Let me guess. It'll be more fun that way.
Leo "I'm going to figure out where you want to kiss me.
Leo "And if I get it right—then you can go ahead and kiss me in that spot."
His eyes were dancing, and I wanted to laugh with delight as well.
Jily "Okay, then. Give it your best shot."
Leo took my hand in his, lifting it slowly towards his lips, until it hovered just shy of touching them.
The gesture was gentlemanly and sensual all at once, and I shivered a little as his breath warmed my skin.
Leo "The back of the hand, or the palm... no, that doesn't seem right. Perhaps..."
He reached up, touching my forehead and trailing his hand gently down my face, his caress almost like a kiss against my eyelid.
He let his hand drift lazily across my cheek, pausing for a moment against the corner of my lips, as if wavering.

（But you know, don't you? You saw me staring.）

His fingers slid across my lips, and I couldn't help sighing softly against them, my body aching for more than those light touches.
Leo "But I think this is the place you want to kiss me."
He slid his hand downwards, his fingers stilling at last against my neck, and I could feel my heartbeat pounding under his touch.
Jily "Is that your final guess?"
Leo "It is."
His fingers tapped a soft rhythm against my skin, and I shivered happily in response.
Jily "You guessed... right."
Leo "I thought so. I saw you staring."

（I stared so hard I'm sure it would've been impossible to miss.）

There was laughter in his voice, but there was a husky edge to it as well, and it set my heart pounding and my body yearning.

（And you know exactly what it means, don't you?）

Jily "I was starting to doubt you, the way your hand was wandering."
Leo "I couldn't help myself.
Leo "I love watching the way you respond to my touch. You look so beautiful."
I blushed a little at the sudden compliment, and he reached up, stroking my reddened cheek with gentle fingers.
Jily "You almost make me believe you."

（I could believe anything you say, when you look at me like that.）

I felt captivated by the look in his eyes, entranced by the sweet smile on his lips.
Leo "You should believe me. Here, let me show you."
He leaned in towards me, his lips pressing against my neck in a sudden kiss.
He suckled firmly against my skin, and I quivered in response, a sigh escaping me.
My body was already on fire after all his teasing, and I closed my eyes for a moment, my head falling back against the sofa.
Leo pulled back just a little, lapping at my neck softly with his tongue, and I opened my eyes again as he lifted his head.
Our eyes met, and the heat and desire burning in his seemed to sear right through me, leaving me aching for more.
Leo "You should see how beautiful you look right now, just from one little kiss. Imagine how beautiful you'll be by the end of the night."
Jily "Leo—"
My heart leapt at the promise in his words, and I watched silently as he began to slip out of his jacket.

Something throbbed deep inside, begging for all of him, and I reached out, helping him unbutton his shirt and toss it aside.
Leo "It's your turn next."
Jily "Oh, really?"
I raised an eyebrow at him, and he grinned as he reached out, sliding his arms around me and pulling me closer.
Leo "I told you the rules, didn't I? And you agreed that if I got the answer right, you'd kiss me there."
Jily "I suppose I did."
His smile was almost too smug, but I couldn't help grinning back as I trailed my hand up his bare chest towards his neck.
His skin seemed to tense under my caress, and seeing his body react to me like that set my heart racing.
I leaned in closer, letting my breath warm his skin, and then I kissed his neck at last, sucking gently.
I felt him shiver in response, his muscles twitching, and then suddenly his arms were tight around me.
Leo "That's a good start."
Jily "I should hope—"
He kissed me mid-sentence, stealing my words away from me, and my laughter as well.
As our lips moved together, I felt his fingers against my skin, undoing the hooks on my dress and pushing it slowly downwards.
His kisses were heady and urgent, and each stroke of his hands against my skin sent pleasure flooding through me.
I felt his hand slip between my legs, and I groaned as his fingers teased me, just once before pausing.
Leo "I desire you, Jily, and only you. Will you give yourself to me?"

It was a beautiful, clear night, and there were more stars in the sky than I could ever hope to count.
I'd taken a few days off from my duties in Wysteria so that I could visit Rayvis.
We'd enjoyed a quiet dinner together, and then retired to Rayvis's room to relax.
We were sitting side by side on the bed, chatting quietly, but as the conversation lulled Rayvis turned to me.
Rayvis "That reminds me, what was the book that was so interesting?"
Jily "I'm sorry?"
Rayvis "You mentioned it during dinner.
Rayvis "You said that you read an interesting book, and it helped turn your mood around."
Jily "Oh! That."

（I actually hadn't even intended to mention it, but you seemed genuinely worried about how busy I'd been.
（I just wanted to reassure you that I was actually fine.）

But the book I'd been talking about had been the one talking about how kisses had different meanings.

（I feel a little silly telling a man like you that reading about kisses is what cheered me up.

Rayvis listened quietly, his expression curious, and he nodded as I finished.
Rayvis "That is interesting.
Rayvis "Although I don't believe that those kisses are limited to just one meaning alone."
Jily "What do you mean by that?"
I studied Rayvis's smile, intrigued by his idea and wondering where he'd take it.
He reached out, brushing my hair back from my forehead, and pressed a gentle kiss against it.
Rayvis "How did you used to interpret a kiss like this? As friendship?"

It was a kiss he'd given me countless times since we'd been together.

（And I used to always think a kiss like that was a kiss of friendship, of fondness.

It was the same thing I'd just been thinking, and I shivered a little as he kissed my forehead again.

I reached up, touching the spot where he'd kissed me, and I smiled up at him, nodding.
His smile widened in response, satisfied but with an edge of mischief to it.
Rayvis "Still, that's not enough for me."
Jily "Oh, really?"
Rayvis "That kiss is hardly enough to convey the depth of what I feel for you.
Rayvis "So, Jily—"
Rayvis stroked my forehead gently, a light caress that promised so much more to come.
Rayvis "Do you mind if I kiss you in other places besides your forehead?"
His blue eyes never left mine, gleaming with amusement and something more, and my heart quickened with excitement.

The look in his eyes was almost overwhelming, and I dropped my gaze as I tried to calm the sudden surge of feelings inside me.
But as I lifted my gaze again, ready to throw myself into his arms, I realized he was frowning faintly.
Rayvis "I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable."
Jily "You didn't!"
I blurted the words out quickly, shaking my head, and his expression relaxed.
Rayvis "Then tell me what you would like from me."
His gaze was still so intense, and the words came tumbling from me in a rush.
Jily "I want you to kiss me. All over. I want it so badly I almost can't stand it."

（I want to lose myself in you.）

I licked my lips, feeling a little surprised at the sudden urgency of my feelings.
But Rayvis only smiled in response, and then he was kissing me, his lips full and passionate against mine.
His kiss was even more intense than his gaze, and for a long moment it was all that mattered—his heat, his taste, his desire.
When at last our lips parted and I opened my eyes, I was stunned to see that he'd stripped off his clothes without me even noticing.
I gazed up at his smug smile, my body throbbing with need for him, and I reached up to touch his lips.
Rayvis "Yes, I want to kiss you there, too."
Rayvis laughed softly, kissing the tip of each of my fingers, and I sighed in response to each one.
He tugged at the ribbons on my dress, undoing them swiftly and pushing the fabric aside to reveal my skin.
Then he pulled my dress slowly downwards, leaning in to press hungry kisses against my skin as he bared it.
Rayvis "Am I conveying my feelings properly?"
Jily "Yes—but—it tickles, too—"
I twitched helplessly as his fingers traced patterns across my belly and along my ribs.
He laughed again, and I felt his warm breath gusting across my hips.
Rayvis "If it tickles, then I'm not trying hard enough."
Jily "You are—"
He pressed his lips against my upper thigh, gently suckling my skin, and I moaned at the sweet sensation.

Jily "I want to show you how I feel about you, too..."
