Prologue：
A gentle breeze carried the warm spring sunshine through the early afternoon.
I was alone in the library, staring up at the shelves.
Jily：How about this one?
It had always been a habit of mine to read a book before sleeping, and that hadn't changed since coming to the palace.
As I pulled out a book that looked interesting, I noticed something higher up on the shelves.
（Oh, it's that book!）
I placed the book I was holding on the table, and stood on tiptoes to catch hold of the book high on the shelf.
I pulled it down—it was a familiar picture book.
（I used to read this to the children all the time.）
It was a fairytale about a prince and princess who told lies, and I opened the cover.
The book smelled musty, but the familiar, beautiful pictures caught my eye.
Jily：Once upon a time, there lived a princess.
I read the familiar words aloud, smiling quietly as I gazed at the first picture.
（That's right—every fairytale has a princess.
（And every princess has a prince.）
As I turned the pages, I heard a knock at the library door.
